Always glad to be here with kindred spirits.

Feel a little stronger each day, and am doing more for myself. Easy to walk down steps but harder to get back up them. I have to call the doctor’s office Tue and give report and find out when stitches come. Itch like crazy under all these bandages, no sign of welting (adhesive reaction like my poor husband had to the steri strips, we ended up treating that like poison Ivy) so it is the good healing kind of itching.

We watched the Longest Day last night, so many have forgotten that part of our history as our WW2 Vets are going home to Heaven at such a high rate these days.

Good way to start the week and I can think of nothing finer than saluting OUR UNITED STATES OF AMERICA’S FLAG!

You’re a Grand Old Flag

Gail, its good to hear from you and that you’re making
progress. I know about the itching as in my past I’ve
had several serious surgeries. You just feeling like
digging into it BUT know you can’t! When your stitches
come out, you can at least rub it lightly and put some
cream or lotion on it, maybe Palmer’s lotion. It is so
good on all parts of the skin (but I think it causes my
finger nails break.) I use Johnson’s baby lotion a lot,
it smells so good and doesn’t break my nails either. LOL!

My prayers will continue for you!
