I know your creation of the chimes is time consuming but, have you ever thought about selling them? Or do you already?
I started making the windchimes about five years ago when I found a website with plans and charts for the length of each tube for a specific musical note. Sold a bunch to mrsdd’s co-workers and made some for friends and family.
Most of those sold were painted solid colors and the stars and stripes chimes were mostly given away. Two years ago I made 14 stars and stripes sets for Gold Star families who attended the So San Joaquin Republican dinner/meeting.
Also sent a set to our nephew when he was serving in Afghanistan. He hung it outside the command post while he was there. It took a real beating from the strong winds that blew. He return it to me when he came home. Paint is all chipped but I hung it near our front door as a reminder to remember our troops.
I haven’t made very many lately but decided to make a set for my dr for two reasons. 1. He is an Air Force Veteran and 2. He saved my life.
