Marissa wrote a poem and recited it in church a couple of weeks ago. The following week, the minister had it printed in the Sunday program. He made a note after the poem ... "A poem by our very own Marissa". Thought I would share it with you today.

A Poem
~ By Marissa ~

When we are born, we are sinners!
When we die, we are winners!
All Ten Commandments were written on two stones!
And if we follow them, someday we'll live with tall wings and thrones.
With wings that can fly into the sky.
With the magic and love, we are free and very high.
So high as far as the Lord's eye can see!
But for this to happen, one question will stand.
Will we sin, or take the Lord's hand?
