In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".

Etymology: "to make utterly confused," from be- + muse (cf. amuse), attested from 1735 but probably older, as Pope (1705) punned on it as "devoted utterly to the Muses."
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

Nice one! You’d have to fight my husband for a place in line - he’s been working out of state on a big project so I haven’t seen him much for the past few months!
So there is, in fact, a line? LOL
I’m having technical difficulties this AM, so y’all can just hold in there till I get it fixed.
Oh! You get a “nicely done” too..... but technically, if there was a line it wouldn’t matter - my husband wouldn’t ever end his turn! ;^)
