He should have read “Will” by G. Gordon Liddy, who survived similar conditions in a D.C. hellhole for his Watergate activities. He was ready to kill someone, if necessary, to send a message that he was not to be messed with. Not everyone is as tough as Liddy, however.

Liddy wasn't in a foreign prison with 90 local inmates in his cell. Going up to the biggest guy in the room and beating the hell out of him would not have done this dude a bit of good. He still would have been passed around. I have a feeling there is a different class of filth in an African prison.
