What a dilemma they face in the fall. Vote the way their mamma, daddy and union boss does and pretend not to be racist or vote for Romney or not vote or have an honest deep introspection and figure out how to vote for the good of the nation.

I think it’s a reflection of the rather extreme provincialism of Bostonians, too. The people of the Boston metro area are very xenophobic in their love of sports, and the only teams they seem to care about are the Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins and just slightly lesser the Patriots.
