The coloured man sitting next to MX who has been mistakenly identified as Barack Hussein Obama was in fact a CUBAN JOURNALIST.

Tom Mboya was NOT a friend of the Obama Clan. A little research will show you that their families shared an enmity that went back to a previous generation.

Tom Mboya was not involved in getting the kenyan to Hawaii, the kenyan had to find his own way, and the AASF (African-American Students Foundation) is NOT listed as a sponsor on the immigration documents.

It really is a little late in the game to be copying information (without supplying a source) that contains a number of mistakes.

But you are dead right about the daughters of MX and their resemblance to Sasha and Malia, I must add. The elder Obama girl is so much like her grandfather it comes as quite a shock.

In 1959 Mboya organized the Airlift Africa project, together with the African-American Students Foundation in the United States, through which 81 Kenyan students were flown to the U.S. to study at U.S. universities. Barack Obama’s father,

Barack Obama, Sr., was a “friend” of Mboya’s and a fellow Luo;

Also Elizabeth Mooney Kirk supported Obama Sr. the first year in Hawaii

Kirk wrote a letter to Tom Mboya in May 1962 asking if another sponsor could be found so Senior could attend graduate school, preferably at Harvard. She was unable to continue her sponsorship as she had two step children who were going to be attending University. Tom Mboya ended up sponsoring Seniorr for his Harvard studies..
