Down 0-9 in the sixth. Up 10-1 in the eighth.
That's what I'm talkin' about.

And all three of the Rangers’ losses were by 1 run. In their 3 losses they gave up 4, 4 and 3 runs.....I’ll take that.

Oh, they’re crying in Shillville. And it will continue, especially if there is not a rain out tomorrow, given the Yankees’ momentum at the moment.

Bobby Valentine will be gone by the end of May at the latest. And the NBA playoffs and Stanley Cup will still be going.

The Red Sox closer gave up five runs while getting no outs.
Meanwhile the area will be pounded by heavy rain all afternoon and tonight so the Sox will get to stew for another day when tonight’s game is cancelled.
Bosox ownership gets another day to think about Valentine’s replacement.
Seen in another discussion group: “Valentine better not send out his laundry.”

Looks like the Tigers and Rangers are pretty evenly matched again this season. Its probably a good thing they aren’t facing each other a whole lot.

For those of you in Rio Linda, The records that speak are measured in seasons and decades. Even centuries.
To: the invisib1e hand
Nope. Past seasons don’t matter. That’s history ...I’m concerned with the present. Historical teams can’t win in the present time.

Sour Caroline, (loss, loss, loss)—bad times never seemed so bad!
Sure to bring out the Fellowship of the Miserable on talk
radio. Be sure to pay big bucks for your seat to see the
Sox lose, and join the jumped-the-shark singing of that
Neil Diamond tune in the 8th

If any team except the Yankees got the money the Yankees got they would never lose a championship...
that's how sorry the Bronx Cheer Bummers are.

I was thinking the same thing. BTW Urban Myers spring game at OSU was fun to watch. I dont know if you saw it but he had the team in a circle before the game started and had two players kinda go mano-on-mano with each other.

From Richard Durrett at ESPN...
"When the Texas Rangers welcome the New York Yankees to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington on Monday night, the best team in the American League will be on the field. And it will be wearing Rangers uniforms."
The Skankees in town? Let's put three more in the 'W' column for the Rangers...in fact; they have an easy schedule until the Tigers come to town in late June, and we saw how that just went in Detroit.
