Just happened to see this come up.
I can’t blame her, but then, that actually is typical Hollywood - despise the 1 huge thing in your career that made your career. Happens with all of them - they want to “get beyond” that big moment, big break. Christopher Reeve didn’t like being Superman, blah blah blah....

I prefer the Tom Petty “Titanic Song.”
Titanic, what a really great song

Titanic, Celine Dion should be chained to the

The ending made me sick. The very last minute of the movie where she threw the diamond in to the ocean. Disgusting, feed some starving children or something.
This movie has been out for some time and if you think I am giving spoilers, I am going to take one from the folks at Penny Arcade. Huge spoiler on the Bible. Jesus dies at the end!

My favorite song about the
Titanic is
The Wreck of the Titanic by Vernon Dalhart, performing as Jeff Calhoun, one of his many pseudonyms.

We just finished watching the whole Titanic thing. Sort of interesting but even my engineer husband agrees that its all a bit gay.

"Every time I go into either some kind of a bar in a hotel where there's a live pianist or into a restaurant where they are changing their music according to who walks in the door ... it's thrilling for people to 'surprise' me with the Celine Dion song," she said. (snip) I'm just a regular slob so this concept fascinates me. There are bars, restaurants, hotels which change music according to who is walking in? Where and who? I would think that there are very few people who actually have their own "theme song".

Finally, a Hollywood star shows some sense!

When Kate Winslet was having her topless portrait painted, I kinda forgot what music was playing in the background, I guess my mind was focused on erect nipples.
My bad!

She shouldn’t be acting too cool for titanic. If she weren’t in this movie no one would even know who she is.

When Titanic first came out, I memorized this song and sang it to my 11 year old and her friends in my best Donald Duck voice. It brought them all to tears (of laughter, naturally).

I LOVE Kate Winslet. What a refreshingly candid person, very honest. And gorgeous.
I suspect she is also very conservative in her beliefs, based on what I've seen and heard about her beliefs about relationships, raising children, etc.

We shouldn’t be so hard on Kate.
In an interview I saw, she said she wasn’t the slightest bit attracted to Leonardo DiCaprio. It gave me a chuckle.

Any Wilson-Phillips song will make me wretch. “Hold On For One More Day” especially. Bleh!

Celine Dion singing makes me throw up. Could just be that.

"'Titanic' Theme Song Makes Me Want To Throw Up, Kate Winslet Says" I felt the exact same way about the entire movie.
