I have never been to Las Vegas. I am not a gambler, so it holds very little attraction for me. But, if they had built a full-scale Enterprise, I would have probably been a regular visitor.
Pity how small minds can kill great ideas.
OTOH, if it had been built we might have been reading articles about what a huge disaster and waste of money it was.
I’ve gone well out of my way to visit Vegas twice. In both cases it was primarily to stand on the street and watch the Bellagio fountains.
There’s an attraction that can be changed at a moment’s notice and costs remarkably little to install and operate.
I’m no gambler either but would have liked to have visited Vegas for that even if I am more of a B5’er.
