Jaw dropping, high-speed, brakeless journey down the mountain. Austrian downhill coaster is nevertheless terrifying. The coaster located Mieders, Austria, starts at the top of a mountain, reachable by a cable car.

Probably too much red tape. Bureaucrats and environmentalists ruin all of the fun.
Um, that’s where I live but I never go over the WV border to OH.
[and I don’t do roller coasters]
;D

i did Hana on an iron head Sportster! It is a great ride! :-)
I hope those signs along the route don’t say “DEER CROSSING”.......
120+MPH and an unbelievably smooth ride. (The "similar" ride at 6Flags in NJ "Kingda Ka" was a little faster and higher but rough beyond description...would still return to that ride also but TTD is the best, without question.)
Hoping to get back there this season...not bad for a couple of 60 year olds...
;>D
Ah Yes...I did Rte 55 in WV...since I rode there a big interstate has been installed so it’s not the same. Back-in-the-day, it was a lovely ride through Moorefield, past Seneca Rock, Seneca Caverns, and Smoke Hole on winding mountain roads with water rushing alongside. Of course, I had to ride from BOSTON to get there! LOL!
I would love to try the route you suggest! :-)
That sounds NICE! :-)
They should make elevators like that.
Might need a few city blocks to stop it though.
I don’t know. I rode South from the Winchester, VA Area and rode many miles, turning into every “scenic overlook” I could, and than turned around and headed North again, continuing on into WVa.
He can’t read the signs, but I think they say “Caution: Grizzly Crossing.”
There aren't Grizzlys in Austria although the Van Trappe family is still being pursued by Nazi ghosts, perhaps??
Its just a great park!
