The first step is to vote. Period. If the numbers are overwhelming they cannot cheat.
After this election, abandon the socialist party(republicans) and move into a more constitution based party for the 2014 midterms... once again, if the turnout and vote is overwhelming you cannot cheat.
Then, repeal the 17th amendment.
