This is not going to be a very easy case to make in a court of law.
1. A man asks a woman for sex.
2. The woman says you must buy me a meal first.
3. The man lavishes a bit of extra money on her.
While not a classic love story, that is not an outline that most people would consider criminal. Throw in that you have a woman so bad off that she is willing to have sex for a dollar cheese burger and you have a pretty sympathetic accused.

You have pretty much just described a normal date. Srs, how is this any different than asking a woman out on a date hoping to get some action?
You can give away the sex for free, but when you want to sell it you become a criminal.
This is the issue I have for making whorin’ illegal.
If they want to make Whorin’ illegal they had better make casual unpaid sex illegal as well. Same effect.
Heck you can give away raw milk from cows for free and the government considers that to be ILLEGAL!!!!!!! Let alone you charge for it....
A lot of people here on free republic don;t seem to realize that many of the laws against whorin’ were passed during the era of Progressives by progressives.
Whorin’ should always be a stigma, but should we use the heavy hamfisted hand of government to intervene?
You are absolutely correct. This woman’s main motivation was hunger. She may have spent all of her money on drugs but in this case all she wanted was something to eat.
Since she was solicited by the UC, they should have bought her a couple of burgers and told her to move on and get some help.
Now they have another prisoner for their jails.
