None of our medical practitioners has asked me about cryo-izing the placenta or banking umbilical cords. Maybe we’re so white they figure we can type-and-cross-match anything we need.
My ob in VA asked about freezing the placenta, but he didn’t go beyond that. Our last two were born in AZ, and I recall being given brochures on the subject. There must be money to make!
