Dupe threads need to be treated. Though I admit sometimes a dupe is the first time I’ve seen some threads. But not this one. There otta be a search function. Then people could just “bump” existing threads, and they stay cohesive (or less incohesive).

I did search for this title. I’ve seen similar stories before. Don’t know if it’s the same guy.

There is. But the title of this article (which is correct) doesn't turn up any others. When posters make up their own headlines or type them in with a cutesie tag, the search function won't find them.
