Yep. The question is whether we will be able to get back up. At least with the Repub nominee elected, we will have some influence. Obama will just give us the finger....Putin will have more say so than conservatives will.
Indeed....how can you possibly say that Romney isn't get shoved down our throats? The media has all but blocked out any favorable attributes about any of the candidates from day one.....and they NEVER present Romney in any other light then "steady as he goes"...and the guy who is going to wrap this primary up.
The Gop-E have all but proclaimed him from the get go and continue to do so now. I could go on and on how this whole primary has been rolling out that Romney is the man of the hour...even when he's failing....so He certainly has been shoved down peoples throats in every way possible....and with the money and power behind them to pull it off.

Well on that note I can agree.....but I still will not be voting for Romney. Santorum would be a hold my nose vote possibly....because he can be easily led....and perhaps he'll be wise enough to have an excellant cabinet.
I wasn't thrilled with Bush but I knew with all which was opposing him that something huge was about to happen in our country, especially after he declared those running with him.....Cheney, Powell, Rumsfield....all heavy lifters. So maybe Santorum would do likewise...if he's smart. And that's questionable as we've seen.
Of course I'm not happy how the media took out Newt, and Romney's ad campaign against him...even the Mambo machine was in that, as well as Paul. But the difference between Newt and the other runners....he's STILL standing and he's no intention of stopping until convention.....then the rubber will hit the road and we'll all see who rises to the top.

At this point, those that will not actively support Obama's (or any other Dem's) opponent, whoever they may be, are the ones that need their heads examined.
You posted the query, “Am I living in an alternate universe?” above. The answer to that is yes, but that goes back to mental stability. Up is down, right is wrong, Willard is a Conservative and not a Socialist. Conservatives are to blame for not voting for Socialist RINOs to get a Conservative utopia. These kinds of conclusions demonstrate you are simply not playing with a full deck.
