Does anyone that goes to theblaze.com have trouble getting pages to load. Don't know if it's them or I don't have enough horse power.
No problem here.
Not having that problem, but I can’t get Drudge to load, it’s been about a week that Drudge won’t load for me, clear out old files, rebooted and reset favorites. Any other ideas?
I’m in. It’s Free Republic that slow as dirt for me.

I absolutely hate the pop-up you get when first coming to the website. It is a pain to get rid of.
I wish someone could explain it. I have a powerful new computer and am on high speed cable but at times I can hardly get FreeRepublic to load and changing pages is very slow when I do ‘get on’.
I go to Drudge many times a day and one click and I’m on!! Don’t have trouble with any other sites. Can anyone explain why some of us would be having trouble with different sites?
I have had a popup on FreeRepublic’s front page that has information about ‘twitter javascript’ or something like that.
I think it is them , I had the same problem on my laptop for about a month, had no problem on my desktop, both running Lucid Ubuntu, however I had no problems using winexplorer in Virtual Box, Then all of a sudden it started working again. I believe it has to do with their tracking, or our friends at the NSA.
Your post certainly puzzles me, I can get on FR with any computer and also my phone, never slow.
This past week I have not been able to get into Drudge. The only thing that loads is the headline nothing more.

It is strange. If I were an ugly talking poster here I’d think I was being blocked some how, lolol. But it’s happened through the years - anytime FR is ‘slow’ I have more trouble than some of my FR friends!
