#1, of course, would be Sarah -- IF she were running. I wouldn't mind drafting her, unless she did that "If nominated I will not run, if elected I will not serve" bit (which she is perfectly within her rights to do).

Of the GOP nominees, Newt's my top choice, then Rick, then (if absolutely necessary) Mitt. Thing is, I live in a very purple Iowa, so sitting at home and voting downticket only is not an option -- at least, not for me.

Only eight miles over, and across the river, is Illinois, which the Empty Suit has pretty well bought and paid for. If I did live there, I could vote for, as one cartoon character once said, "a prom date on the moon with Santa Claus" and get as much, or more, mileage than I might expect to get from Mitt.
