Zimmerman either killed a kid in self-defense, or he didn’t.

True enough. Just yesterday someone posted a story about a white kid sentenced for killing a black man in another state. While there was a racial aspect to that case, I think it was only important in proving premeditation. When it comes right down to it, murder is murder regardless of race.
This Florida case clearly has nothing to do with race or premeditation.
