Then FR pivoted from "PALIN COUNTRY" to "NEWT COUNTRY" almost on a dime, and all the 'bots here pivoted in perfect harmony. Now it's like Newt has been their idol since the Bronze Age. Pathetic.
Absolutely right. I could name names, but I won't.

But you know what, as much as I like Newt (and I do) I really believe that Perry was the man for Our Side. I really believe him when he said he would shut down three of those stinking socialist bureaus (yeah, I know, he forgot the name of one during the debate, yuk, yuk, yuk, yuk, yuk), and that he really would work non-stop to get Washington "out of our lives".

But we are conservatives. We are purists. We are stupid. We now have Romney.

And you know what, Palin let us down in all this. Let us down BIG TIME. First by dropping out and then by not doing what she did in 2010 so well, getting us to coalesce around conservatives.

Thanks a heap, Sarah. For nothing.

Only to those who put her on a pedestal.

I never did.

Palin doesn't owe me a damn thing.

Meh, I went from Perry to Newt myself. Sorry, but Perry demonstrated he was not up to the task of being a national general election candidate. Republicans gave him plenty of chances and Rick had gobs of cash too. Perry led in the polls big time for awhile. He simply does not have the communication skills for the job.

Perry was by far and away the best candidate on paper. But he was a paper tiger and fell apart under the spotlight. I wish it had been different. I was very enthusiastic about Perry when he entered the race, but it became clear pretty quickly that he just wasn't capable of being the nominee.

Sarah Palin owes you or anybody else here nothing. In fact, Republicans and some conservatives let her down. None the less, she did an excellent job of promoting and defending Conservative policy and issues while letting us pick the strongest conservative candidate. Again, any failure is on Republicans' part NOT Sarah's.

You outta be apologizing to her, you're the one that doesn't measure up.

One cannot say Palin made nothing as it is estimated she has made millions.

As a Californian it makes no difference if I vote for any particular Republican there are so many diverse ones that Republican votes are swamped.

Palin did not let US down. She is as hard working for conservative causes as ever. Perry would not defend the border (any more than W. did) and frankly he wasn’t any more conservative than old Georgie Porgie himself.

Perry was not the guy and was never going to be the guy. I am glad you supported him and still feel strongly but be realistic Perry is a RINO as much as Bush
