Do you accept that porn is more widely available now than in the 80s... yes or no?
If your answer is 'yes' to both, then you must agree that there is by definition a correlation between availability of porn and a decrease in the above crimes.
define what you mean by porn being more available. and then prove by reason or at least give a convincing “inductive” argument that supports your definition. my guess from talking to my childhood friends who are in law enforcement (experience is far more convincing when dealing with human nature) is that there is a relationship between serial pedophiles murders and porn.
the FBI statistics are based on what. reports? convictions? there, i’d have to see there study. but i’d be inclined to believe the base statistic. the question would be if the data were stratified to serial sex crime murders.
anyway. nice talking to you. i can see you have a lot more confidence then i do in statistics as employed by social “scientists.”
