Chuck Krauthammer agrees with me that he has to pick Rubio and that Rubio will draw in lots of different constituencies. Whyisa i know you are concerned that the diehards won’t ever pull the lever for Romney, but if we can draw the Hispanics to the ticket by adding Rubio, it may be enough. Also, Rubio should put FL def in the R column. He suggested Portman as another alternative, but def was high on Rubio. and said that regardless of Rubio saying NO now, that he won’t say no, no one says no, when the call is actually made and everything is on the line.
I think Rubio’s book indicates he’s open to the VP slot. Did you notice it says “American Son” on the cover. Yea, he’s ready.
