Forbes may have a point about reliability and construction as characteristics about 'Worst Built Cars', but when they criticize the stiff ride and wind noise of the Jeep Wrangler and Toyota FJ, it just proves that they're a bunch of metropolitan four-eyed dorks like the man whose magazine bears his name.

What the hell would Forbes know about off-roading? "Golly! This Jeep sure has a stiff suspension! It's one of the worst built cars ever!"

Forbes also needs to get a web designer who knows how to keep the 'Next' button in a pictoral from having to completely reload the page. I think they're going to have to hire a liberal to get their site right.

Man, I love my FJ Cruiser. It is a great surfing/hunting/towing/commuting machine. Sure visibility isn’t great but that is what mirrors are for. Almost 30,000 miles in 15 months and I haven’t had to do anything but regular maintenance.

I was thinking kind of along the same lines. A vehicle with genuine off-road capabilities is probably not going to drive like a sports car. That’s not to say the vehicles don’t have any shortcomings, but these guys don’t really seem to “get it.”
