Newt Gingrich's twin campaigns (Inside Look at Newt's Campaign)
Politico ^ | 3/20/12 | JONATHAN MARTIN and GINGER GIBSON

That cheery, DIY effort masks a different campaign, one that is slowly expiring in all the usual ways of terminal campaigns at the end-stage: cash is running low, supporters are griping about not getting paid and aides are valiantly trying to convince themselves as much as the press that, really, there is a path forward.......To a degree rarely seen in presidential politics, Gingrich is his own strategist, scheduler and press secretary.“He makes the decisions about 99.9 percent of the campaign,”.........“They never build any structure to live past the next state,” complained one GOP strategist who advised Gingrich in one key state earlier this year. “They’d go to the next state and have to re-invent the wheel.”.....

It takes the Hand of God for Newt to get elected

God obviously prefers someone else.

I agree that things always looks very bleak for Newt’s campaign, that is why I said it had to be God’s Design if Newt got nominated, not alone being elected to be President. If we repent and pray hard enough, God will grant us an worthy leader, if not, He will leave us to our sinful desires which include Obama re-elected and we will all suffer.

I keep praying. I still hope that Newt will be nominated, pick Sarah Palin for VP position. Somehow I still feel this scenario is predestined, but we all wait and see. It is not over. When everything seems lost, everything will be saved. I have studied prophecy for years ( since 1997)to know that our country will have to suffer before we turn back to God. Believe it or not, I focus more in Europe as according to ancient prophecies, Russia and Iran (Muslims) will attack Europe to start WW III soon. Iran will use nuclear weapons, not on Israel, but on Southern Europe according to prophecy. What do you think all the tumults in Muslim world for? To consolidate all region power to Iran. That is all the clue I give you.

I think you nailed it on that one caww. I don’t see the citizens in this country electing a pro constitution President with a Judeo Christian mindset. The majority of citizens in this country have turned away from God regardless of whether they identify themselves as Christian or not. For those who don’t understand prophecy and firmly trust in God the times coming are going to be very frightening.

We need to be praying for a revival and bringing others to Christ. Without that, this nation is going to continue to morally decline and, ultimately, collapse.

As for Newt, the majority of Christians voting in primaries prefer Santorum and, morally, have good reasons to.

I was reading an article this morning that most Catholics are voting for Romney rather than Santorum as many thought would be. Based on many exit polls conducted.

Here's a Catholic commentor I found interesting:

2 kinds of Catholics:

1. Those who carry out the spirit of the best of what our religion teaches and with grace and humility..... My Boston-Irish Catholic neighbor was such a glorious person--big heart, generous, kind, did good works (and with a fabulous sense of humor), and boosted people's spirits wherever she went. She pitched right in and improved the world.

2. Those who dogmatically focus on the "rules" of the hierarchical big-C Church..... Sanctimonious Santorum and many of Church hierarchy fit the latter category....... These people are rigid, "rule bound," doctrinaire, authoritarian, and often suffer from a punishment syndrome (the desire to punish others)........ Paradoxically, while they like make a dramatic display of their "religiosity.

( I truly think this election is the last hope for this country and unfortunately the bait was set by Romney and Obam, and the media, to lift up Rick Santorum... and far too many Christians fell for the counterfeit.....once again showing that the children of the world are wiser than the children of light)

God obviously prefers someone else.

He's been known though to come in at the last moment and change the equation quite drastically in fact. It's not over til it's a done deal....

Most Christians have recognized that Newt is the only candidate who brings the full package to the table in turning this nation around.....unfortunately the media, Rep. elites, and others beat Newt back....and moreso "lifted" a counterfeit for people to fall for...and it looks like they certainly have swallowed the bait.

With this it was also understood if Newt doesn't win then the path of judgement this nation has been under with Obama will continue to our peril.

God raises up leaders, and that for correction and judgment as well as blessing a nation. Any other than Newt will continue to take this nation downward...and continue to bound the people...and that would also include Santorum who is far from being "the one" to turn this ship.
