The things we can do these days never cease to amaze me. And make me a little uncomfortable.

The discovery led to a relatively simple modification — adding to their medicine regimen an amino acid that can be bought over the counter — and now the siblings are so healthy, active and intelligent, their mother says, “You would never know they had any problems at all.”

My comment is about something that can be bought over the counter -- I personally did not know that Red China supplies virtually all vitamin C and a large amount of vitamin A.

I just learned that it is true and furthermore Red China's companies are charged with price fixing here in the U.S. I do not know the most recent news about that. Here is an article from last year.

How China came to rule vitamin C

I do not know what else threatens us like our dogs are threatened routinely by foodstuff from Red China.

So are our corporations going to send this gene reading stuff to get it done "cheap" in Red China? Hand over all technology to the Chi-Coms?

Especially when one considers the poor quality of government.

Probably within the next ten years, individual genome sequencing will be a common lab test.
