In ‘92 UN high official and Chairman of the Earth Summit stated that “...isn’t our responsibility to bring about the collapse of the industrialized countries?”

Looks like his “responsibility” has come to fruition.

Look to the implementation of the UN Agenda 21 as a primary cause.

BTW, the NAFTA Preamble shows its connection to Agenda 21 with the goal of “Promoting Sustainable Development” which is the Agenda 21 implementation plan.

Over 600 municipality's in America have contracted with ICLEI. A UN connected orgainazition formed to implement Agenda 21 at the LOCAL level. Item 1.7 of the agreement calls for adopting The EARTH CHARTER which was written by former Soviet dictator Mikhail Gorbachev, Stephen Rockerfeller and Maruice Strong.

Thanks Captain, you got it in a nutshell.
The heartbreak is it has escaped the notice or care of the Obama voters.

And more from Maurice Strong;

Current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class - involving high meat intake, the use of fossil fuels, electrical appliances, home and work-place air-conditioning, and suburban housing - are not sustainable.
Maurice Strong, opening speech at the 1992 Rio Earth Summit[specific citation needed]

If we don’t change, our species will not survive... Frankly, we may get to the point where the only way of saving the world will be for industrial civilization to collapse.
Maurice Strong, September 1, 1997 edition of National Review magazine

What if a small group of world leaders were to conclude that the principal risk to the Earth comes from the actions of the rich countries? And if the world is to survive, those rich countries would have to sign an agreement reducing their impact on the environment. Will they do it? The group’s conclusion is ‘no’. The rich countries won’t do it. They won’t change. So, in order to save the planet, the group decides: Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn’t it our responsibility to bring that about?
Maurice Strong, Interview 1992, concerning the plot of a book he would like to write[1]

It is simply not feasible for sovereignty to be exercised unilaterally by individual nation-states, however powerful. It is a principle which will yield only slowly and reluctantly to the imperatives of global environmental cooperation.
Maurice Strong, 1992 essay entitled Stockholm to Rio: A Journey Down a Generation[specific citation needed]

“Our concepts of ballot-box democracy may need to be modified to produce strong governments capable of making difficult decisions.” [2]

Been shouting this stuff from the rooftops for years now -- either nobody believes it or they just don't give a damn.

Maybe others feel as I'm beginning to that no matter how we vote or how much we donate to good causes, nothing ever really changes. We're all being herded into a repressive socialist world government by traitorous politicians. The Shadow Regime set up by Strong, Soros and their Sorcerer's Apprentices seems invulnerable.
