This is kinda an open letter to the Secret Service.

I seriously believe you guys do a bangup job. It's a very tough gig you've all signed up for, there are terrorists of the Islamic (and other) persuasions that you must constantly look out for.

I'm of the opinion that -- God forbid! -- anything happen to Mr. Obama, that the left would have a martyr that would exceed the value of their Che Guevara. THIS CANNOT HAPPEN, so please, protect the President with everything you have got! I don't even care if you need to look into people a little, just to be sure. It's THAT important that President Obama complete his term without any problems.

That said, please know that I do intend to defeat Obama in the court of public opinion, and at the polls, and I will strive with great vigor to make sure he is a one-term President. These are normal, American solutions to bad Presidenting, and I know all of you -- being Americans, as you are -- understand and probably concur.

If, however, Obama begins to direct you to apply legal or physical force to people that are only a political, not a physical, threat to him, it is time for you to seriously consider whether you want to be a part of a true tyranny. At that point, if one or more of you are directed to serve less as protectors and more as henchmen -- it is time for you to go public and leak these bad developments.

We are all patriots and we all love America. I will serve her the best I can in every way, including trying to make sure enough minds are convinced that Obama cannot assume a second term. I know you shall serve her in the best ways you can, too. I salute you all.
