101.9 Talk FM will replace Rock 109. New FM Radio Station Joins Radio Fargo-Moorhead
The first FM talk radio station in Fargo-Moorhead debuts Monday.
101.9 Talk FM is part of the Radio Fargo-Moorhead group, which also owns KFGO. The new station will replace Rock 102 as part of a nationwide trend of successful FM talk stations.
Omaha and Kansas City radio veteran Tom Becka will lead 101.9 Talk FM and host a morning show. Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity will also be part of the line up, along with Fox Radio News.
Current employees of Rock 102 will remain with the Radio Fargo-Moorhead group.
101.9 Talk FM’s line up will be as follows:
- (5:30 a.m. - 6 a.m.) The Pre-Tom Becka Show
It’s like a pregame…find out what is going to happen on The Tom Becka Show.
- (6 a.m. - 9 a.m.) The Tom Becka Show
Tom Becka has consistently been recognized as one of the leading talk show hosts in America by Talkers Magazine and other leading publications. Becka is known for his moderate libertarian stance and is the leader of what he calls, “The Mad Middle.” Every morning Tom Becka will deal with the hot issues of the day with honesty, integrity, and a sense of humor. Becka will utilize the award-winning KFGO-AM newsroom.
- (9 a.m. - 11 a.m.) Kilmeade And Friends
Brian Kilmeade will offer his take on the top stories of the day, with newsmakers and guest experts offering their insight and perspective, along with segments featuring the top personalities of Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network. And “friends” include listeners’ point-of-views, of course.
- (11 a.m. - 2 p.m.) The Rush Limbaugh Show
You know what you are going to get when you tune in to The Rush Limbaugh Show, America’s Anchorman. Before Rush Limbaugh, political talk was often dry, hackneyed and boring. Not anymore! Rush Limbaugh’s lively, humorous, and just plain fun program has rocketed his show to the most listened-to form program. You may not love him, you may not even like him, but you listen to him.
- (2 p.m. - 5 p.m.) The Sean Hannity Show
Sean Hannity is the second-most-listened-to talk show host in America. Hannity is known for his provocative, free-wheeling, passionate commentary on politics and the American agenda. Hannity has received two Marconi Awards.
- (5 p.m. - 6 p.m.) JD Hayworth
JD Hayworth is a former congressman and a regular contributor to Fox News and other media outlets. Hayworth will be taking your calls and focusing on the issues that are important to Fargo-Moorhead. Make JD a part of your drive home every weekday.
- (6 p.m. - 9 p.m.) Jason Lewis Show
While Rush Limbaugh is America’s Anchorman, Jason Lewis is America’s Mr. Right. Lewis was a regular substitute host for The Rush Limbaugh Show. The Jason Lewis Show deals with the serious issues of politics, economics, and cultural affairs, but Lewis’ sense of humor brings a good deal of levity to the show. Lighter topics include sports, music and movies. You’ll also hear plenty of Elvis and Beatles’ trivia, as the Jason Lewis Show is home of Beatle Bumper Fridays.
- (9 p.m. - 12 a.m.) The Michael Savage Show

First they said Rush “saved AM.” Now he’s saving FM.
