So... what is the deal with Chelsea? Was the management so bad that getting rid of him and going back to the old way is enough to get them rolling again, or is it just a short-lived adrenaline boost from the change?

They certainly have been playing more inspired of late since the change. We’ll see if it lasts. They got a huge break drawing Benfica.
Milan-Barcelona could be one for the ages.

Short-lived, they will be stretched trying to maintain 4th in the EPL and try to continue to compete in Europe. They also have the FA Cup which means a very short rest between games, I believe it will be difficult for them. They are chasing too many rabbits.
