I have read all of Hillerman’s series on Joe Leaphorn and Jim Chee. I have never read any of Doss’s books are they along the same lines as Hillermans? TY Martha

JA Jance writes about Cochise County and is pretty good. It is not any of the reservations around the area. Just a small town large area sheriff.

Doss’s books are more humor than mystery, but deal with places on Southern Ute reservation. Fun reads.
