Not all dogs are short nosed, But I did handle a millitary dog today, a German Shepard, who didn’t look very nice. Also, you are no longer to sedate a dog under new Gubmit regulations. If you ever saw a dog after a flight, you never ship it again. They seem very disoriented.

I have shipped dogs many times, they have always been fine. And for the most part the people at the airlines were kind and helpful (and liked dogs). In 20 some odd years of flying dogs around the country (and 2 international flights) I have never had an issue, other than not being able to get them onto a flight because of temperature restrictions or other weather related issues.
