How about the 'domestic' enemy in the White House?? If the "message" has no teeth as you claim, then why worry? There's nothing to it, right? Our enemy is not the general public in Russia / or citizens for the most part, it's big governments and the people pulling your string, ..err. uh.. ummm.. I mean their string. of course.
