I've been Everywhere - history.

This was written by the Australian songwriter and Country singer Geoff Mack, and recorded in 1962 by the Australian singer Leslie Morrison, who used the stage name Lucky Starr.

Hank Snow recorded it in 1962 and sent it to the top of the charts. Johnny Cash did it later.

I’ve heard an Irish version of “Everywhere,” as well as a New Zealand version and a UK version.
