I was listening to Rush this morning during my lunch break and at 1131 CST, I heard a commercial for Go to Meeting by Citrix.
I have a slightly different take on ProFlowers. For one, let’s not forget that they still support Hanity and other conservative shows. No doubt they knee-jerked on this issue, but I bet they come back.
Secondly, I have had no problems with them...for everyone bitching about the extra fees (delivery, care, tax, etc.), please show me a floral service that does not tack these on. They have ALWAYS gotten my order right, and my girl says the product has always been terrific.
Rush needs to get advertisors who wouldn’t buckle to this crap. Like the NRA.
A computer-generated auto-response. No human will see your message or read it.
That’s the same response I got yesterday - so not changing their tune yet.
I used FTD this valentines day. Of course price is no object on this sort of thing. I don’t know if they are RATS or not but they aren’t PRO.
I told ProFlowers to change their name to NoFlowers, after they dumped Rush.
I also shorted CARB for a nice weekly allowance! Thanks, you stupid Liberals!
Proflowers is owned by Jared Polis, a strong homosexual activist. He is one of those guys that strike fear into our hearts with threats of attacks and intimidation. He has used the capitalist system and our freedoms to make himself rich, and press forward on using government to shut up anybody who disagrees with him.
I guess they get rich and then think, ‘Bow down and obey, peasants’. What kind of a mind is that?
You got the bug letter:

My brother was an intern for Congresswoman Geraldine Ferraro, working constituent services. While most letters fell into a few well defined categories, and received precanned replies, there were occassional exceptions. His favorite assignment was getting to reply to a constituent:
Dear Mrs. Bullatico,
Elvis Presley was a great American and made many important contributions to American music and culture. We will give HR-82-1023, making his birthday a National Holiday, the serious consideration that it deserves.
Thank you once again for taking the time to share your concerns with me,
Yours truly,
Representative Geraldine Ferraro
Yes, I got the same reply although the name on mine was different than the one listed a couple of days ago.

I wrote and told them— I am sorry but since you support my money going towards financing the sexual activities of a 30 year old activist and her friends— I will need to cut costs somewhere.
I will no longer have the money to purchase Pro Flowers, thank you for your understanding in this matter.
