No kit, the only thing I used from the Bruce Roberts 434 plans were the frame shapes. Every other detail was my own. I even increased the frame spacing from 44 to 46 inches. Along with higher freeboard, a straight sheer, and a transom angle matching the 45* bow, this increased her from 44'to 48' LOA.

PS: as you can see in the single-frame picture posted above, it's a "radius chine" with a 30" radius section between two "hard chine" panels.
I had 100 feet of plate rolled by the steel company and delivered. This shot shows the individual sections tacked in place.
