This isn’t about “vetting”, Mary. This is about finding out what the candidate plans to do as President.
This speech talks about coming to an agreement, a compromise, with Muslims, a group of people who believe it is acceptable, in fact demanded by their religion, to kill non-believers.
“Though shall not kill” is one of the Ten Commandments.
Since when do we compromise with evil?
The whole speech reads like something written by a high school student.
