It’s a decade old and won’t matter to our little Republican primary voters who only know that McPain, Dole, and GHWB say it is “Mitt’s turn.”

Maybe he was just “taking one for the team”?

He’s got more baggage than a C-130; it won’t be hard for Obummer & Co to take him down hard, if he gets the nomination. God help us all.

The Olympic games are an elitist enterprise and should not be funded by taxpayers at all.
Let the sponsors, Nike, Gatorade, Michelob Ultra, etc. pay for it.

A man who describes sucking the federal teat as “creativity” will not get my vote in the primary or the general.

Too bad the alternatives are Rick “earmarks are good” Santorum and Newt “the ultimate insider” Gingrich.

I can't help thinking that the Dems. are doing everything they can to pick the GOP nominee. Everything they have been planning for the last two years (class warfare, OWS, 99%) is setting up a race against a super rich candidate. Romney is already well know as a flip flopper (the thing that defeated Kerry in ‘04). Mitt is stiff as a board without a prepared text, which makes him even with Pres. Obama. With Romney as the candidate Obamacare is off the table for November.
Herman Cain's take down had too many Chicago machine connections for comfort. The media leads the attack against Santorum. It seems every time a candidate looks like they may take off not only does the Romney/Paul team attack but so does the groups on the left.
I fear that the American people will turn back to a candidate who believes in the wrong things than risk a candidate who believes in nothing and thus appears weak.

This is why the democrats are pushing for Mittens now and think they can defeat him in the general.
Obama, Mittens. Not much difference except that Obama truly hates our country.

sorry. i'm posting one-handed after surgery and it's hard to search, so i apologize if i've missed something.
i googled to find out whatever i could about this. this apparently isn't teaparty or conservative news. the dnc released a web video attacking romney for his olympic spending in the middle of last month (i may have missed it with surgery and it didn't pop up with 'olympic' in search). it was covered by the hill and others back on february 17. the expenditures and the dnc video - and mccain's statements - are already the subject of a factcheck.org article. john mccain was quite vocally opposed to them . . . back then, although he's trying to re-cast his previous statements now.
i don't know who leaked the internal video of mitt bragging about the money, but i know that i missed all of the hooplah about the federal spending on the olympics. du has been addressing romney's spending and mccain's backtracking already.
