The last 50 years in America have been devoted to salving a guilty conscience.

In an effort to make up for the real and percieved attrocities of slavery, we have over-indulged in both deed and monetary rewards and created a spoiled entitlement class.

Other Americans, otherwise morally challenged - who normally would have joined the America way looked and saw that if you could become a "victim" you could get free stuff, and taxpayer money.

Now the child is hopelessly spoiled and you can't put the toothpaste back into the tube.

The fourth estate has been replaced with tabloid journalists who concentrate on the power they yield rather than informing and protecting the public. Like "Lois Lane" they spend more time playing nanny and policeman, and lusting after their "superman" (obama) than they do on finding and reporting the truth.

Americans have worked so hard at political correctness and proving that they are not "racists", that the roles are reversing and a new generation of "slaves" has emerged.

Yes, America is too soft - cry babies that are letting words take them down. Fear - perpertrated by media-aired threats - has taken over the land and is bringing America to her knees.

Calling America the "home of the brave" now only applies to a very small segment of the population...the rest are content to cower on their sofas watching "American Idol", waiting in comfort for the end to come...and it will.

Yep, I think about this all the time. I know what 1/3 I'm in, and I'm spitting mad and ready to fight! Screw the election, I just want to start an insurrection! Okay, I know, it's not time for that, I know, but I sure feel like I could.

We can’t hope that the media will ever change, we need to use any method we can to spread the word to as many as possible, while fighting to destroy the credibility of the media myth makers at every turn. We can’t rely on Rush or Fox News to do that job for us, we’ve got to do it.

Well, there will come a time when there’s simply no way left to keep spoiling the child. Hard times come to everyone inevitably, and they teach hard lessons. Then, the spoiled children will of course throw tantrums, but maybe, just maybe, they will eventually learn that in the real world, tantrums don’t get you what you want.

As soon as Andrew had passed away I had a post asking if he was killed because of his bambi videos, and here on Freepublic I am ashamed to say it was removed.......

since then Mike Savage and others have said the same thing and the posts were allowed to stand......what does that say about what is happening here.....

I love FreeRepublic and the tremendous service it provides.....but let’s not over react, because my post raised a legit question that other have echoed.....
