And it could be hereditary.
He mentioned yesterday, I believe, that he’s been on Cholesterol meds for yrs

I've had high cholesterol all l my life. From the first time I got a test in my 20’s up till now in my 50’s. Losing weight did little to change it.

OTOH my blood pressure is perfect and I have very little plague build up. .

I was reading that Niacin Vitamin B3 is good for promoting HDL (good cholesterol) which helps inhibit bad LDL. Also large doses of vitamin C and Fish Oil high in Omega 3 fatty acids are excellent for circulatory health.
I hate the statin drugs-get bad reactions.
