we have an election coming up... the anti ‘birthers’ on the right say the issue shouldn’t be discussed at all, even though we’re talking about a Constitutional requirement, forgery and fraud.

does this mean from now on we cannot demand any candidate for POTUS actually meet the exceedingly low qualifications for office?
