I witnessed that stuff growing in China on the mud at the side of the Yellow river.
If you’ve ever smelt that mud, you would understand why my first sampling of the mighty Bok Choy was under the category of ‘Science and Exploration’.
Man was I bad the following day.
So you are right ,’You will never defeat Bok Choy!

My parakeet, The Stig, likes bok choy! That’s all he wants for a veg, though he will eat lettuce if that’s all that’s available.

‘m told that the mud smells like the old swamp near where I grew up.
In which case, skunk cabbage was pleasant by comparison.
