"You know, seeing is highly overrated..." Hmm. Have you been playing that "Blind Man" game at the nudist camp again?

Seems like it. Has all the earmarks (cattitude of entitlement and superiority, demands to be waited on, etc.) He didnt get it from my side of the family. LOL. How did the squish go?

I’ve always preferred seeing things fuzzy, like a Van Gogh painting. (Pronunciation is Van Phlegm according to my college English prof.)

Regular internet is out here from yesterdays storm, and over using the cell phone connection is too expensive. Talk to you all tomorrow.

It actually wasn’t as bad as my anticipatory dread would have led me to believe! Not concerned about results. They said they’ll send a letter. My family dies of different stuff (like ODing on strawberry shortcake lol!) I’m more of a Nutella fam. Sleep tight, sweetie!

it's funny how scouting works. boys i wouldn't let run with sticks are now serving in afghanistan or working in law enforcement. a boy who flunked the swim test for summer camp once is now working on a oil platform in the north sea. the kid who caught snakes has a ph.d in herpatology. and so on. i can't say the three-pound wolf spiders did much, but a kid who was scared of thunder lived through the storm and thunder and lightning never bothered him again.

Great follow up to a good story. It was good that you followed their paths later in life.

I could tell similar tales.
But everyone would rightly suspect that I was just making stuff up.

I didn't even know what a Chihuachshund was until I came home from work one afternoon and was presented with one as an unexpected permanent houseguest.
"When I want to call them, I just use the weenie whistle."
I thought you were just kidding about the whistle. Sheesh! So that's what I've been doing wrong all this time.

Off to get my chest squashed in a vise. Only going to say this once. Stay out of the vises! or take a drink (afterward) to ease the pain. A fifth should do the trick.

I don’t like chloroform. It causes me to get sleepy.
Or Sodium Pentothal either, to tell you the truth.

Oh, I think you’d still manage to tell us a fiction, even with sodium pentothal. Fiction is just a different kind of truth, after all.

Good morning! The sun is shining, the flowers are blooming, the birds are singing (except for the one Jake ate for breakfast), and the teenagers are vertical, if not fully conscious.
How are you after the vise-activity?
