You do know that Oscars are mostly for technical people right? Only four of the awards go to actors.

Nice job, Bendy...quite creative. They should have you help write the show (although the Billy Crystal intro was pretty good...almost as thrilling as the Super Bowl)).
Thanks for the ping...

Billy’s opening song was funny, but the sound guys had the music too loud...could not hear all the words he was singing.

Here is my bit of trivial education. The Oscar statue figure is standing on a film reel if you ever get to see one in person. From the horizontal view it just looks like a circular stand which is how it is most often seen.

Did you catch Jlo’s nipple show? She must need publicity.

I have a choice tonight I can watch mindless Zombies terrorize the USA which is broadcast live on ABC OR I can watch the "Walking Dead" on Cable Channel AMC.
I'll go with the "Walking Dead" being its a better show and waaaaaay more intelligent programming

Billys opening song was funny, but the sound guys had the music too loud...could not hear all the words he was singing.I had the same problem. Glad to learn it wasn't my TV...
Does anyone know who the flamingly gay "Expedia" guy was on the Red Carpet show before the Oscars show started? Ugh, hubby was getting physically sick listening to the guy. It's so disgusting that Hollyweird celebrates these no-talent degenerates.
Robin Roberts was more masculine than the Expedia guy, btw.

I saw a lot of the movies. I liked The Help & Warhorse, but loved Moneyball. ArtIst was charming, but not the best IMO.

In further pursuit of knowledge I went to the official Academy website and found this description.
Design: A knight holding a crusaders sword, standing on a reel of film. The film reel features five spokes, signifying the five original branches of the Academy (actors, directors, producers, technicians and writers).
A Crusder’s sword? I wonder if a certain group are offended?

I wonder if the South Park guys wore J Lo’s dress this time as well.

Think I remember in previous posts you work/have worked in the film industry. I have a question...
Don’t they have a technician(s) watching the actual TV broadcast in real time as the rest of the public? I expected the music accompanying Billy’s song to be adjusted lower after the first 15 seconds, but it never happened. Don’t they have someone watching a regular TV (what the public sees and hears) so they can make the necessary adjustments quickly?
