Santorum did the right thing at the time at the behest of his President.

It is highly questionable that we would have Alito and Roberts if Santorum had not supported President Bush.

Well time will tell if the Bush judges are on the side of 'right'. I am NOT convinced yet that 'international law' is not the standard by which decisions will be made.

Wrong. Doing the right thing IS doing the right thing. Not manipulation behind the scenes hoping things work out right. That’s shows the character of the person - either trustworthy or a manipulator.

His mo is known so he’s a willing politician who can be relied on to take one for the TEAM. And the TEAM is NOT AMERICA but the GOP E! He’s a COMPROMISER with nothing solid about him - and that is the type of supporters he attracts. COMPROMISERS - are not conservatives.
