Zach Bagans of the Travel Channels `Ghost Adventurers’ recently debunked a belief that this otherworldly trumpeting noise was being created by deceased jass trumpeters.
He and his fellow ghost adventurers traveled to the Washoe Hotel on Chincoteague Island, near Virginia Beach, VA, former stamping grounds of a number of jazz musicians and spooky place according to natives.
Bagans wasted no time:
“If that’s you Dizzie Gillespie frightening all these people with your horn and blowing our your cheeks, well, why don’t you come out and blow some notes at me?”

After complete silence ensued, Bagans said, “Well I guess this lends credence to what that really smart philosopher guy said, that if there’s a natural explanation for something, and a supernatural explanation, and, uh ... we have these EMPs. “
