Then they’ll just be able to track you by your IP address, which would take legal action to link to you, personally. But it wouldn’t stop them from sending ads to your IP address, for example.

Are they Being Evil yet?

Is there a way to erase ones search history, without having had an account? Its the principle of the thing that bugs me.

They can’t track your IP if you hide it and they also can’t track an Ip unless it’s a static IP. Many are shared by you and many other people. I find goo gle comical. Sometimes when I hide my IP they won’t let me search. They want me to type in the code. I just change it to another search engine when they do that. Also, use Bing or even better startpage and tell goo gle to kya.
