This is the 5.11 trainer? The price is definitively right and i can buy them at a local gander mountain. With belts i never like to buy without trying on first.

It is leather inside and out with a strip of plastic in between. The plastic makes the belt stiff enough to secure the holster
I think the trainer is the web belt. I have one of those too. It is a good belt but looks tactical, not something you necessarily want in concealed carry.
