The study's lead author, Dr. Gordon Hodson, told LiveScience that people with lower intelligence scores are attracted to the "structure and order" of these ideologies because they make it easier to comprehend a complicated world. "Reality is complicated and messy," Dr. Brian Nosek of the University of Virginia, who was not involved in the study, told The Huffington Post. "Ideologies get rid of the messiness and impose a simpler solution. So, it may not be surprising that people with less cognitive capacity will be attracted to simplifying ideologies."

So, dear Doctor, socialism, communism, and fascism are NOT simplifying ideologies that impose order and get rid of that 'complicated, messy' reality?

Careful on how you answer, sir, because this particular Conservative has a measured IQ of 150.

I’m disappointed, I thought your IQ was immeasurable. Next you will tell me that you need three bounds to leap a tall building and you can’t even outrun a BB.

Oh no. They are complex, nuanced systems, summarized below, that are almost like holding a mirror up to reality.

The Politician

1. I want power.
2. If I convince the people to give me more money and power, I will have more money and power to do stuff I want to do.
3. OK.

The People

1. Other people have more money than I do.
2. That politician promises if I give him more power he will get some of their money and give it to me.
3. OK.
