I recently moved to one so that I would have employment. I love where I work, but it means sacrifices on the pay in order to get actual relevant career experience.
I’m a teacher, but since I’m only parttime, someone working full time at McDonalds would take home more than I do.
But yeah, I’m a member of the ‘gimme generation’. ;)
Good luck to you! Since you are part time, maybe you could find another job. I’m an aging boomer and I don’t see any way I can ever retire. Funny, I’m starting to see these articles about working till you drop. That’s probably me.
