Is it just me, or is this Whitney Houston thing Michael Jackson deja vu? I don’t understand why her death is more of a “tragedy” than any other family’s loved one who died as a result of substance abuse, unless it is because her hangers-on/enablers won’t be able to push her onto a stage in a lucid moment to make more money for them...
As soon as the deluge stopped this morning, I went wood gathering and spread it out to dry under the trees in front of the garage, noticing that the gutter over the garage doors is full of leaves. I came inside to get a cup of coffee, an apple and some yogurt for breakfast, and turned on the TV to see some of the business shows and some news.
Once the business shows were over, the coverage switched to a crowd of people in NJ talking about Whitney Houston as though her demise happened in a plane crash, or some other accident. I turned it off, worked on a bid-they are still eulogizing, so I’m going to fetch a ladder and clean that gutter...
I think it’s the elephant in the room, ie drug abuse, that makes it all so weird. Not one word at her funeral. The media only cares if it,s Rush.
